What kind of artist would I be if I didn't know the first thing about motion? Three seconds is at least seventy-two frames — that's a lifetime for some.

Animated frames. There's roughly twenty-four frames per second. So three seconds is quite a lot.

Which is why they outsource much of it only to clean it up later for the physical releases. A shame. I would have loved to collect cels in this day and age . . .
